A thing of beauty is a joy forever
So the wise man said
What did he not say as he took
A pill and laid in bed?
The joy of beauty is forever
The love of beauty is forever
the song of beauty is forever
What could possibly be said
To bring life from the dead?
What is IT that could be found
What could be buried, not in the ground,
What is a thing you wished for, wanted
That Creator knew, it haunted
You for years and years and years
It echoed under every fear
And yet you knew it couldn't be done
Unless a victory could be won.
And if a thing of beauty is
A river flowing in a kiss
What could be done that is not done
In resurrection, victory won?
